YEREVAN (ArmInfo)–A majority of Armenians who took part in a recent survey on Turkish-Armenian relations have said they are against signing of the recently announced protocols guiding the normalization of relations between the two countries, reported Arminfo on Monday.
The survey, conducted by the Armenian Sociological Association, randomly polled 1000 Yerevan residents from September 21-25, asking them whether they supported or opposed the protocols and whether or not they were for the opening of the Turkish-Armenian border.
According to the results, 52.4 percent of respondents were against the signing of the protocols, while 39.2 percent supported the signing of the documents. At the same time, 47.9 percent of respondents supported the opening of the border between Turkey and Armenia, while 40.9 percent opposed it.
