STEPANAKERT (Hetq.am)–Representatives of political parties in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, at the initiative of the ARF, assembled at the party’s offices in Stepanakert to discuss the possible ramifications of the current normalization stage of Armenian-Turkish relations on the Karabakh conflict settlement.
The political representatives expressed their concerns that diplomatic negotiations now underway between Yerevan and Ankara might have negative consequences for a just resolution of the Karabakh conflict and jeopardize the right to self determination of the people of Karabakh. The meeting took place behind closed doors but Hetq said such discussions would continue, possibly in a more public format.
