More than 12,000 Armenian Americans from throughout California converged on the Beverly Hilton Hotel to protest the Turkey-Armenia protocols as Armenia President Serzh Sarkisian met with representatives of Armenian American organizations to defend his decision to sign the flawed documents. The protest was organized by the Stop The Protocols Campaign.

Today, October 3rd the Armenian Community of Argentina, Buenos Aires made a public ceremony in protest to the announcement by the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Turkey with the aim of reestablishing diplomatic relations between both states, and which set unacceptable preconditions for Armenia.

The Armenian community of Lebanon rallied on the evening of Wednesday, September 30 to express their opposition to the signing of the Armenia-Turkey protocols. The public rally came days ahead of President Serzh Sarkisian’s expected visit to Beirut, where he will attempt to defend his administration’s conciliatory policy on Turkey and the protocols on establishing relations that he is slated to sign on October 10.
