The Armenian National Committee of America’s (ANCA) ‘Countdown to Erdogan’ moves from the internet to phone lines on Thursday, November 12 with the launch of a National Call-In Day to encourage Senators to cosponsor and work for the adoption of the Armenian Genocide Resolution, S.Res.316.

The Armenian population outside of Yerevan is uninformed about the Armenia-Turkey protocols and the dangers they pose for the future of Armenia, said Armenian Revolutionary Federation parliamentary bloc member Ara Nranian, who added that his party has initiated an intensive effort to engage the two-thirds of the population in the process.

The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Monday unveiled “Countdown to Erdogan” – a month-long campaign of grassroots activism aimed at encouraging the U.S. Congress, the media, and – ultimately – the White House to put America on the right side of the Armenian Genocide.

Activists with the “Teghut Defense Group”, headed by Heritage Party MP Zaruhie Postanjyan, staged a demonstration outside the Armenian Government Building in Yerevan on Thursday protesting the recently signed Armenia-Turkey protocols.

The European Armenian Federation takes note of the fact that the Armenian Nation is all in all opposed in Armenia as well as in the Diaspora to the ratification of the protocols between Armenia and Turkey.

On Friday, Oct. 23, Turkey’s Ambassador to the U.S. Nabi Sensoy, appearing on a Voice of America television news segment on the recent Senate introduction of the Armenian Genocide Resolution, cited the newly signed Turkey-Armenia protocols as a reason for his government’s intensifying campaign to block U.S. recognition of this crime against humanity, reported the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).

The Armenian Revolutionary Federation unveiled on Friday a detailed plan, which it called a “roadmap to regime change”, saying that for Armenia to persevere and survive, fundamental changes are needed to its socio-economic, political, and governmental structures to ensure the pursuit of a national agenda.
